Motor encoder alarm

— Failure Cause

Wiring error; Electromagnetic interference; Hardware damage of encoder caused by mechanical vibration;  Pollution caused by the site environment;

— Trouble Removal

Check wiring and eliminate errors; Check whether the shielding is in place, check whether the wiring is reasonable and solve, if necessary, increase the filter to improve; Check the mechanical structure and improve it; Check whether the encoder is polluted or corroded (dust, oil, etc.) and strengthen protection;

— Installation and wiring standards

Try to use the original cable; Separate cables to keep them away from contaminated wiring as far as possible, especially high pollution wiring; Always use internal power whenever possible. If switching power supply is used, filter should be used to ensure that the power supply reaches the clean grade;  Always ground the common end; The encoder shell is insulated from the machine structure and connected to the cable shielding layer; If it is not possible to insulate the encoder, the cable shield can be connected to ground (or dedicated terminals) on the encoder housing and driver frame.

Motor shaft broken

— Failure Cause

Unreasonable mechanical design leads to excessive radial load; Load end stuck or serious instant overload;   The assembly of motor and reducer is different.

— Trouble Removal

Check the maximum radial load that can be borne in the motor sample and improve the mechanical design; Check the operation of the load end, confirm the actual process requirements and improve;  Check whether the load is stable, whether there is vibration, and improve the accuracy of mechanical assembly.

The no-load current of the motor is unbalanced and the three phases differ greatly

— Failure Cause

The winding ends are connected wrong; Power supply voltage imbalance; The winding has inter-turn short circuit, coil reverse connection and other faults.

— Trouble Removal

Check and correct; Measure the power supply voltage and try to eliminate the imbalance; Eliminate winding faults.

Abnormal sound occurs when the motor is running

— Failure Cause

Bearing wear or sand and other foreign bodies in the oil; rotor core loosening; Bearing oil shortage; The power supply voltage is too high or unbalanced.

— Trouble Removal

Replace the bearing or clean the bearing; Overhaul the rotor core; Come on; Check and adjust the power supply voltage
